The 15 most toxic places on the planet you wouldn’t want to live in. The fact is rivers and air have no boundaries….and so we are all affected by the devastation happening in these places.

The Yamuna is the largest tributary of the Ganges River. Where it flows through Delhi, it's estimated that 58 percent of the city's waste gets dumped straight into the river. Millions of Indians still rely on these murky, sewage-filled waters for washing, waste disposal and drinking water.

Change is coming to Indian politics. Not fast enough, but it’s happening in bits and spurts that we can hope will have a cascading effect soon.

So on the one hand we have the former Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda stashing huge amounts of ill gotten wealth in a state owned bank – right there hiding in plain sight. And on the other, 4 IAS officers posted their assets on a blog for all to see.(Hindustan Times)

Boxers hired as ticket collectors.

One hopes there is a plan to monitor the beating and intimidating of passengers without tickets doesn’t get out of hand.
