It’s called peace.facebook.com – a joint project between Facebook and Stanford University’s Persuasive Technology Lab. The collab tracks Facebook friendships and tells you how many connections are made between people from different countries, religions and political affiliations.
India-Pakistan feature prominently on the graph tracking connections between friends in geographic conflict zones.
Is world peace possible in 50 years they ask? Yes, we say. If we can get all politicians and terrorist groups signed up to the site…Absolutely yes.
