We certainly hope so. It’s a source of pride for us here in the US as we watched the first lady plant the first garden in the White House since Eleanor Roosevelt’s victory garden in World War II. “Its most important role, Mrs. Obama said, will be to educate children about healthful, locally grown fruit and vegetables at a time when obesity and diabetes have become a national concern.” (NY TIMES)
So the Obamas get ready to host their first state dinner for India, and the guest Dr. Manmohan Singh is a vegetarian. Go Mrs. O! Wow ‘em!
