U.K. charity DRUM (Disability Recreation Unity Movement) is working with students at Watford’s Parkgate Junior School to develop India-inspired art projects that will be exhibited in the charity’s Passage to India exhibition, the Watford Observer reports

Watford-based DRUM is a small charity that provides day services and support for adults with physical and or sensory disabilities and supports more than 100 of their careers. Most of the DRUM members were not born with a disability but developed one through an accident or illness like as stroke or MS.

In June, DRUM will open to the public its Passage to India exhibition at the Parkgate Community Centre.

For the project, students are combining traditional rag rugging techniques and recycled materials to create textile flowers for wall hangings and decorations.
