YHL readers know we get really excited by this kind of news. This is all part of  a campaign launched by the United Nations Environment Programme in 2006.

BBC has an encouraging story on how one man’s effort is literally reforesting the entire state of Bihar who came really close to planting a billion trees…yes a billion trees in a single day!

An Indian civil servant, SM Raju, who has inspired entire villages to participate in reforestation of Bihar.
