‘Star Of India’ The World’s Most Expensive Car Made For A Maharaja

(Full Story At Luxist) Listed at $13 million, this one-of-a-kind 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II 40/50 HP Continental “All-Weather Convertible” custom was made for an Indian Maharaja. The incredible car known as the “Star of India”, is being sold off by famed Rolls-Royce collector Hans-Günther Zach.

Meanwhile India ranked 134 among 182 countries on the Human Development Index of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) that was released globally Monday.
