Ditch The Sneakers. Running Barefoot Is Better For You.

So says Harvard professor Daniel Lieberman whose “research shows that barefoot runners, who tend to land on their fore-foot, generate less impact shock than runners in sports shoes who land heel first. This makes barefoot running comfortable and could minimize running-related injuries.”

Three thoughts come to mind on reading this news:

(a) Notice how much time and money is spent on debunking all the products that are billed as good for us?

(b) This is good news for pedicurists.

(c) Add to the list of things Indians already knew for a few thousand years.
