Gratitude. One simple word that so many of us just don’t pay enough attention to. Everyday there are a million things to complain about – health, jobs, family, coworkers, politics, religion, corporations, and the list goes on and on and on. And yet there are so many things that happen to every one of us every day that we can be thankful about – the kindness of strangers, a book we saw someone reading that sounded like a good read, a kind word.

And so it is that we found this blog that does just that: writes a thank you note everyday. To everything.

Time 100 Influential List – Tendulkar, Manmohan Singh, Rahul Singh and More.

In India, People Making A Difference on April 29, 2010 at 6:30 pm

It’s that time of year. The TIME  magazine gets to pick the 100 most influential list of people in the world…or as we call it – the list of 100 recognizable names in the world that are in the news…a lot.

Like Manmohan Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Amartya Sen and Chetan Bhagat

Then, there are those on the list not for being in the news regularly, but for the quiet acts of heroism that happened to get noticed once in a while.  Like Sanjit Roy and Rahul Singh.  You can tell that they’re not in the news a lot because they get TIME illustrations, and not photographs.  Just sayin’.
